Bloomberg adds real-time market data service to cloud

Its front-office solution, B-pipe, is available via Amazon Web Services

Cloud computing
Reliable option: Bloomberg says capital markets are nearing a tipping point for cloud adoption

Bloomberg’s market data feed, B-pipe, is now available on the cloud via Amazon Web Services (AWS), providing clients with another deployment method for real-time data delivery.

B-pipe was built for the front office and provides complete coverage of all the asset classes on the Bloomberg Terminal. It is currently available on AWS PrivateLink, which simplifies the security of data shared with cloud-based applications by eliminating its exposure to the public internet, according to Bloomberg.
