Joseph Cafe moves to the bank from BNP Paribas

Cafe wil report to James Taylor, global head of FX electronic market sales

Joseph Cafe is leaving BNP Paribas to join BNY Mellon as a vice-president in electronic foreign exchange sales in New York.

He will begin his new role in May and will report to James Taylor, the US bank’s global head of FX electronic markets sales, who is based in London.

Cafe, who joined BNPP from Deutsche Bank in 2015, was a vice-president for global markets at the French bank in New York. Before that, he worked in FX sales at American Express.

BNY Mellon declined to comment.
