Malhotra returns to Barclays in Singapore

The e-FX specialist comes back to the UK bank after more than seven years at UBS

Gaurav Malhotra is returning to Barclays to head the bank’s Asian electronic FX franchise in Singapore, FX Week has learned.

Malhotra returns to Barclays after spending more than seven years at UBS as the head of principal e-trading for the Asia-Pacific region. Beginning his FX career at Barclays Singapore in 2005, Malhotra stayed at the UK bank until 2011. Before his departure he headed the Apac spot desk for the bank’s Barx FX trading platform.

Malhotra’s return follows a raft of senior
