Citi reshuffles FX options team

Two options traders leave London and a new corporate salesperson arrives; Singapore office gains new options head

Job changes: Citi’s London-based FX options team trimmed, but corporate sales buoyant

Over the past few weeks, Citi has seen several departures and arrivals in its FX team, in London and elsewhere, FX Week has learned.

New arrivals include Akshay Saxena as head of FX options for Asia, based in Singapore, and Alba Fernandez Barreiros, who joins the corporate FX sales team in London.

Departures include those of Richard Collins and Pouya Pasha, two FX options traders based in London.

Singapore-based Saxena joins Citi after spending 15 years at BNP Paribas, where he most recently
