New FX options head at Credit Suisse

LONDON - Simon Hards has taken on the mantle of head of foreign exchange options at Credit Suisse, following Gordon Wallace's departure from the bank in London, according to market sources.

Hards, who has been with the Swiss bank for eight years, is understood to have taken on the new responsibilities alongside his current role, having previously been head of exotics, where he reported to Wallace (FX Week, July 14, 2008).

Wallace departs after less than two years in the role. He arrived in 2007
