Reuters Dealing 2000-2, which recently gave way to EBS in the FX Week/Syntegra Best Banks in FX Awards for 1997 as the best FX matching service, has apparently been upstaged by EBS in terms of average daily matches, according to a recent report in The Financial Times. Citing documents obtained from a Reuters presentation to clients, the FT says the service averaged 21,000 matches per day in the first quarter of this year, which compares with an average 24,000 for EBS.
