Currencies invested in include those of China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
Exposure to the currencies is through investment in short-term money market instruments of Asian countries or a combination of US dollar-denominated securities and forward currency contracts.
Currency exposure allocations for MACF are based on quantitative and qualitative analysis that can be adapted as monetary policies and economic environments change.
