BAML loses managing directors in New York and Asia

Cuts at the investment banking arm hit FX

Doug Horlick, head of foreign exchange institutional sales for the Americas at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML), has left the firm.

Based in New York, Horlick had worked at the bank since 2009, having joined from Goldman Sachs where he spent four years as head of FX hedge fund sales for North America. Between 2004 and 2005, he worked at Citi in an FX sales role covering asset managers.

Sowen Ng, head of Asia-Pacific FX sales in Hong Kong, has also left BAML, according to reports.
