JP Morgan FXEM structure reflects current demand

Jury and Thakur head up FXEM from New York and Hong Kong

JP Morgan's recent alignment of FX and emerging markets (EM) within its corporate & investment bank (CIB) is understood to be a result of clients' preference for viewing G-10 FX and FXEM in tandem, as well as the bank making its own efficiency savings.

The US firm promoted Claudia Jury and Pranav Thakur to co-heads of foreign exchange and emerging markets (FXEM) last week in a further management reshuffle, which has already seen a number of changes this year under the new head of the CIB, Daniel
