EBS BrokerTec becomes Nex Markets

Average daily volumes on the venue fall 12% in April, compared with March, and slide 7% versus April 2016

Foreign exchange and fixed-income trading platform EBS BrokerTec has rebranded, and will now be known as Nex Markets, announced owner Nex Group on May 3.

The venue also reported its average daily volumes (ADV) for April.

The rebrand does not affect the platform’s management team, led by chief executive Seth Johnson: Tim Cartledge, global head of FX and head of product; Jim Iorio, global head of sales and head of FX for the Americas; Darryl Hooker, global head of metals and spot, and head of FX
