More FX platforms to come, says Celent

The string of new platforms that have crept into the foreign exchange market during 2012 will be joined by yet more new entrants in what is becoming a very overcrowded space, according to a new report by research and advisory firm Celent.

The 32-page report, Institutional FX Market: Changing business models and evolving market structure, studies the driving forces behind the slowdown in FX growth over the past year, as well as the drivers behind the spate of new platforms.
