Trade reporting chaos near end for European treasurers

European corporates are through the worst of the challenges posed by implementing the trade reporting requirements and systems, according to the Francois Masquelier, vice-chairman of the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT).

"I believe the worst is behind us," he says. "Corporates have got through trade reporting implementation largely in one piece, though it was a serious challenge to everyone in the industry that could perhaps have been better handled."
